This is my Ultima Online development website. The site specializes in providing custom replacement world maps for the Ultima Online gaming community. There are currently 25 custom
replacement maps available on the site. These custom replacement maps can now be purchased individually or as a complete set via the Darkshard Development DVD. I have been developing maps,
enhacements, and add-ons for the Ultima Online game for over 18 years now. For me it's a hobby and I'm very detailed when building my maps so they do take quite some time to complete as I work alone,
but from the high praise I have been given by those using my maps they are well worth the time it takes me to complete them.
All my map BMP images are designed using Jasic Paintshop Pro, the MUL files are generated using Dragon 1.0362 with my IMod9+ or IMod13 add-ons. All structures, items, and decorations are added using a
world editor called CentrED.
The UOP files are created from the MUL files using a program called "LegacyMULConverter". The MUL files are supported up to UO Client 184.108.40.206, and the UOP files are needed for all Clients beyond that
My maps are 100% compatable with any of the Ultima Online Free EMU's, but if you are looking to create a shard I recommend running
JustUO or RunUO
for your server, and Classic Client 220.127.116.11 or higher as the client to take full advantage of the graphic details in my worlds. You can use any of the older clients they just
won't take full advantage of the graphic detail I've built into most of my latest maps.

I will be taking a break from the development of the "Britannia (T2A edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World" as my work and home life currently don't allow enough time
to accomplish anything worth doing on the world right now. Hopefully this summer sometime if or when things settle down I will be able to return and get it completed.
Jan 06, 2018
Happy New Year everyone! I am now back from holidays and continuing to work on the "Britannia (T2A edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World" as time permitts.
Sep 24, 2017
I have now been spending more time on the development of the "Britannia (T2A edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World". All is going well and it's nice to have the time to
develop again. Upgrading the forest areas throughout the map is very slow going as I am literally moving each tree one at a time, and adding in new trees to make the forest areas more realistic and less
straight paths while running through them. It is coming along slowly as this will be the part that takes the longest. I remember doing the same thing for the Sosaria Enhancement and it literally took
me 3-6 months just to complete the forest upgrades. But like I say; it takes what it takes and I won't release it until I'm satisfied. So hang in there folks.
May 17, 2017
I will be switching departments at my job this coming June, which is good news as the new department won't be as busy. This will also give me more time to spend on development of the
"Britannia (T2A edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World". I should be able to get back into full development of the world by the start of July so hang in the a little longer
and you will see more updates as I finish more of the remaining areas.
Dec 4, 2016
I just wanted to give everyone a quick update as to what is going on right now. Continue working on the "Britannia (T2A edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World". I have a few
weeks of vacation happening around Christmas, which is coming fast and hope to get a lot compelted. Shooting to have it completed early 2017. I know its been a long time coming, but as always will be
worth the wait.
May 26, 2016
I'm now in the final stages of the terrain upgrades for the main Britannia portion of the map. There are only 2 tasks remaining (Bulk up forest areas, decorate all of the shrines). I'm hoping to have
these 2 tasks completed by summer or sooner if possible. The (Bulk up forest areas) will take the longest as it means going through every single inch of forest area and moving the trees around, adding
more trees to bluk the forest up, and fix any height issues with existing shrubs and trees. Once these 2 tasks are completed then I can move my focus into the dungeon areas, and then the T2A terrain.

Made some small changes to the look of the website, nothing huge just a slightly adjusted template and a new background image. I like the new look better, but navigation and location of information
is exactly the same. Hope you enjoy the updated look.

With the release date of Windows 10 on the approach, I took a break from development and started backing up my file server pc, game development pc, and gaming laptop to ensure if there were any problems
with the upcoming upgrade I could revert back to Windows 7 on all systems without loosing anything. Glad to say everything went smoothly upgrading all my systems and I am now running Windows 10 on all
my PC's. Everything is 100% working and I didn't loose any of my work, files or software. So starting this coming Monday it will be back to development as usual. I figure another week or so finishing up
the mountain ranges throughout the world and then I'll be able to move on to the next section of upgrade. See Projects page for more details.

Well this is the offical kick-off date, and I've already got quite a bit of work completed on my latest project
"Britannia (T2A Edition) Enhanced 100% Completed World". For complete details on this project check the Project Details section of the website.

I am thinking of offering the (100% Completed Worlds, GUI's, 2D Enhanced Graphics Upgrade and Darkshard DVD) on a USB Flash Drive as an alternative media type to CD or DVD. I have had some people
comment in the past that they don't have a CD or DVD player, this would solve that problem as everyone has a USB port. At this stage I am just curious if this is something that would interest
people. Please let me know if you think offering these items on USB Flash Drive is something that you would like to see. Thanks.

I have just updated the website with a new look and feel for the year to come. It contains all the same content as before, but with my new hosting company LinkSky here in the states I can advertise
other websites, which I couldn't do in the past. So this new look and feel to the site allows banners for other websites to be added to my site. There are a few to start and will likely be more
to come. I have also changed the main page of the site so that there is a time line showing when each project, add-on or change to the site has happened. I regret I do not have all the dates
and details of everything that has happened from the launch of the website, but what I have has been listed and I will continue to maintain it going forward.
November 27, 2014
Announcing January 1 2015 my next project will be to enhance the original "Britannia (T2A edition) Map0 world" to take full advantage of my Enhanced Graphics Upgrade

a FREE map.

ensure they are corrected with a future release.

I am now able to create the UOP files from my MUL files myself, but I would like to thank a friend Lord Velius who was kind enough to do the initial conversion of my
world MUL files over to the UOP format so that I could make them available as well.
January 1, 2014
I have completed the "DarkShard Gothic GUI" and the add-on is now available on the website. This latest GUI has a Gothic look and gives the game a completely unique
look and feel. Over 800 remastered graphics and a completely redesigned interface. These new graphics and interface give the game a much sharper and cleaner look. This is by far the best
GUI I have created for the game to date.
June 14, 2013
Lord Velius who is the admin of a Free Shard called Unique Lands UO has been nice
enough to create the UOP files for each of my world maps. This means going forward you will not only get the MUL files for the completed maps but also the UOP files as well. I recommend everyone
to check it out, as stated it is quite a unique shard full of life and adventure.
March 31, 2013
I have completed the "2D Client Enhanced GUI & Graphics Update". As part of its release I have also updated the website with a new look and feel to promote the new
add-ons release. I offer these new add-ons seperately for those who wish to only use one of them, as well as a package for those who wish to use both. Check the Client GUI's or Enhanced Graphics
sections of the website for more details on these add-ons.

I have completed the "Inconnu Map2 Replacement World" and it's now available on the website. This map contains a large single landmass which has 2 large cities and
a few small towns and farming villages. This would be a perfect map for any shard looking to offer factions allowing these 2 large cities to oppose each other.

with 12 islands surrounding it which will definately promote ship travel.

buildings have been decorated, but all of the Dungeons are fully decorated. This has been done to allow shard developers to have some unique aspects to their world by completing the buildings
that have been left undecorated as they see fit.

a shard that offers both summer and winter areas for players to explore.

I have released the first 100% completed Map0 world, the "Sosaria Map0 100% Completed World" is now available on the website. This map has been a few years in development
by myself and a friend. We intended to use this map for a public free shard we were going to develop and run, however that fell through and I felt all our time and hard work shouldn't go to waste. As
this map was to be used for a shard it comes with signs.cfg file containing the location and names for all signs, GenTeleporter.cs file containing all the teleporter locations for the map, trammel.xml
and felucca.xml files which makes the new map locations available to admin and gm characters via the in-game [go command, Regions.xml containing all of the area information for the map including
music and light settings, PublicMoongate.cs file containing all of the proper moongate locations for this map, finally the multimap.rle file for this new map allowing for treasure hunting to work
properly. All these extra files have been written for RunUO v1.0.
